As an idea, it might be interesting to reverse the “time” of the “number of lines” and the “time in the story world” as a topic. This could be done in a novel or manga.

In the usual case:

  • The number of lines progresses almost at a constant speed in relation to the reader’s Kairos Time.
  • The time in the story world can vary drastically, with the same line representing only a minute or a year. Generally, the time in the story world progresses faster than in reality.

To reverse these two:

  • The characters in the story world could be portrayed as “reading” the real world.
  • The “time in the story world” could be made to progress slower than the “time of the number of lines” (which represents the reader’s Kairos time).
  • It would be difficult to merge the story world and the real world (breaking the Fourth Wall), but focusing on time could work.

(I don’t have the technical skills to create this, so I might post it on Twitter or somewhere else.)

Might implement this in the future.
